My favorite neighborhood in NYC is Tribeca.  It is really low key and quiet with cobblestone streets and some of the best restaurants in the city.   My favorite weekend activity is walking around Tribeca and popping into different restaurants for apps and a drink.  Sarabeth's is a neigborhood staple in Tribeca and while it is most popular for it's brunch, I actually think it has an amazing bar space that is perfect for a cocktail.  The atomosphere is bright, casual and family friendly.  Since the vibe is so comfortable, I wore a super casual weekend look of a camo shirt layered over a simple white tank and my new favorite ripped jeans from Paige denim.  My vans sneakers topped off the outfit.  During this visit I opted for a Lava Cap Cabernet Sauvignon that is perfect for sipping on with a light app!  To shop my look, or the wine, click the links above or below.

What The Experts Say:

Lava Cap's estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes have long been recognized for producing a wine with lovely structure and vibrant fruit character. The fragrant must of fruit was cold-soaked for three days to enhance color and flavor. The youthful exuberance of this Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a nose of cherry, cloves and toasted oak. Full bodied and well structured, with soft tannins concentrated on the mid palate, this wine finishes with rich, red fruit kissed with a little French Vanilla.

What I say:

This cabernet is perfect with a hearty meal or for sipping on while out with friends.  It is full bodied and has vanilla and cherry notes.  I would definitely recommend this is you are looking for a good wine at your Thanksgiving day table!
