One of my favorite go-to casual outfits is denim on denim.  They key to mastering this look is to make sure that the washes are slightly different.  Today I am wearing a chambray J. Crew button down with a darker wash of high waisted Mother jeans.  This outfit is perfect for brunch or a lunch date with friends at a super casual restaurant.  Today I stopped by AOC in the West Village to taste their rosé.  AOC is a quaint neighborhood spot known for their french fare and extensive wine list.  While there I ordered a glass of the Chateau d'Esclans Les Clans Rosé.  I am a big fan of rosé, but I just started drinking it about a year ago so I am always looking to try ones from different regions and vineyards.  Check out my review below, and shop my look!

What The Experts Say:

Extremely light pink. Vibrant, mineral-tinged red berry and pit fruit scents, along with suggestions of jasmine, orange zest and honey. Smooth and energetic in the mouth, offering juicy raspberry and peach flavors and a hint of bitter orange zest. Powerful yet graceful, showing outstanding energy, focus and thrust on the endless finish, which leaves behind nervy red berry and candied citrus fruit notes.

What I Say:

This wine was a little bit dryer than some of the other rosé wines that I like.  It had strong fruit notes in the beginning with a dry after taste.  I really enjoyed it, but I have to say that Whispering Angel rosé is still my gold standard!
