My favorite neighborhood in NYC is Tribeca.  It is really low key and quiet with cobblestone streets and some of the best restaurants in the city.   My favorite weekend activity is walking around Tribeca and popping into different restaurants for apps and a drink.  Sarabeth's is a neigborhood staple in Tribeca and while it is most popular for it's brunch, I actually think it has an amazing bar space that is perfect for a cocktail.  The atomosphere is bright, casual and family friendly.  Since the vibe is so comfortable, I wore a super casual weekend look of a camo shirt layered over a simple white tank and my new favorite ripped jeans from Paige denim.  My vans sneakers topped off the outfit.  During this visit I opted for a Lava Cap Cabernet Sauvignon that is perfect for sipping on with a light app!  To shop my look, or the wine, click the links above or below.

Lava Cap Cabernet, $17.99, Buy

What The Experts Say:

Lava Cap's estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes have long been recognized for producing a wine with lovely structure and vibrant fruit character. The fragrant must of fruit was cold-soaked for three days to enhance color and flavor. The youthful exuberance of this Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a nose of cherry, cloves and toasted oak. Full bodied and well structured, with soft tannins concentrated on the mid palate, this wine finishes with rich, red fruit kissed with a little French Vanilla.

What I say:

This cabernet is perfect with a hearty meal or for sipping on while out with friends.  It is full bodied and has vanilla and cherry notes.  I would definitely recommend this is you are looking for a good wine at your Thanksgiving day table!

There is nothing I love more than sitting outside at a restaurant in the West Village and sipping on some crisp white wine with cheese and bread.  Rosemary's is one of my favorite spots for this activity.  Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, Rosemary’s is an Italian restaurant with a rooftop farm that serves up fresh seasonal dishes.  The wine list offers an abundance of Italian wines at affordable price points as well as reserve wines if you want to dial things up a notch.  Today I chose the 2016 Terlano Pinot Bianco from Italy paired with Ricotta Fresca and Humble Pie cheese.  I am obsessed with the lavender spiced honey and bread they serve with the cheese.  Everything tastes so fresh and is perfect for a Saturday afternoon bite.  Today it was super hot so I wore my favorite distressed Current Elliot jeans and Splendid tank top.  To add a fun pop of shine I wore an embellished pair of sandals and layered on my rings and jewelry.  To shop the look or wine click the links above and below.

Terlano Pinot Bianco $20, purchase

What The Experts Say:

With wonderful aromas of apple cider, chalk and lemon zest, this clean and focused wine expands on the palate to reveal warm apple crisp, clove and quince nuances. Possessing a long, concentrated citrus finish, this wine pairs perfectly with roasted pork, shellfish and egg-based sauces or as a charming cocktail beverage.

What I Say:

This is the perfect wine for a hot summer day!  Crisp and refreshing with notes of green apples and citrus.  Perfect with ricotta cheese and honey.

There seems to be a growing trend of restaurants decorating their spaces to be social media friendly.  I first got wind of While We Were Young scrolling through Instagram and judging by the pictures, I knew I needed to check it out.  This quaint West Village restaurant is a bloggers dream complete with fresh cut roses, marble, and blush pink and gold accents.  The menu is small but tasty serving blogger favorites such as avocado toast, burgers and salads and the cocktail menu offers drinks that are just as picturesque as the decor.  I stopped in right before the after work cocktail crowd and got seated right away by the window which is my favorite place for people watching.  The space is really small but just as beautiful as it looks on Instagram.   I chose the Marquis de la Tour champagne which was a great choice for  a quick after work sip.   I wore one my favorite t-shirts from American Eagle paired with these summer pants from J Brand that are super comfy and the perfect light shade of lilac.  I added the necklace for a cool pop of color and coincidentally it went perfectly with the color scheme of the restaurant.   If you live in NYC or are visiting for the weekend, this is a great place to stop in for a drink, small bite and most importantly, pretty pics for your feed.

Marquis de la Tour Brut, $10.99, Purchase

What The Experts Say:

The wine is pale gold with fine bubbles. The aroma is delicate with floral aspects, while the taste is crisp, clean and light with melon flavors.

What I Say:

This champagne was super crisp and light.  It was fizzing with bubbles and had a pretty sharp dry taste.  Great for serving at a party or a light meal.
