Until recently, most of us wouldn't dream of wearing our pajamas outside of the house.  Over the past year or so pajama inspired dressing has become a major trend that we have seen coming down the runways and the streets of NYC.  The key to nailing this trend is to understand that this is not an excuse to wear your old ratty college t-shirt with holes in it (even though this may be what you actually sleep in).  The pajama trend is really all about taking some of the fit, fabrics and details normally found on nice pajamas and making them street-ready.  This ASOS blouse is a perfect example of taking some of the details from a menswear pajama set and making them more feminine. The notch collar, button up style looks like is was taken right from a matching satin PJ set.  I paired mine with these high-rise J Brand jeans and a classic pair of pumps to dress the look up a bit.  This is a more conservative take on this trend, but if you wanted to be really bold you could pair this top with black silk pants to get a super-charged PJ inspired look.  Just remember to balance it out with a pair of pumps or something unexpected to make sure it doesn't look like you literally rolled out of bed!
