Summer is here which means it is time to refresh your wardrobe.  Somehow no matter how many clothes I own, every season I look in my closet and feel like I have nothing to wear!  I love shopping for clothes in the summer because typically everything is a little more casual which is exactly my speed.  Aside from the normal refresh of basic t-shirts and tanks, I always like to pick up a few new pieces to add to my closet to get me through the season.  Right now for summer I am really loving off-the-shoulder tops, shirt dresses and rompers.  All of these picks that I am sharing with you today are perfect for the summer months and are super versatile for a variety of occasions.  To shop, click the links above and below!

Recently, a major trend to emerge is lace up shirts and sweaters.  I remember having a lace up shirt in college that I would always wear for a night out.  Looking back at old pictures, it is pretty embarrassing because the shirt laced up the entire front which at the time was a good look, but looking back not so much!  Today most lace up shirts just have a small lace up detail like the Kooples sweater I am wearing today.  What I like about this look is that you can make it as conservative or racy as you want depending on how tightly you lace it.  For a more dressed down look, I paired mine with this classic camel coat from Topshop and J Brand skinnies.  This outfit is perfect for lunch with friends or a casual date night!

One of my favorite things to do while kicking around the city is pop in a local coffee shop to catch up with friends or get a much needed caffeine fix for the day.  This L'Academie blouse is a great piece to wear to a casual coffee date or any casual event.  I love a lace up blouse because depending on how loosely or tightly you tie it, you can go for a completely different look.  Today's agenda is very casual so I paired it with these grey skinny jeans and my favorite Rag & Bone booties and simple accessories.  L'Academie is a really cool brand that is sold online at Revolve Clothing and always has great blouses that could be worn to work or out with friends depending on how you want to style it. Hello City Luxers,

It's another Monday and today I have one of my favorite outfits to share with you!  I love a casual look that is a little bit rock n' roll.  My favorite thing to wear is a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that has a little something special whether it be in the fit or some other detail.   The cutout shoulder detail on this LNA shirt is perfect for a casual look.  Today I paired it with my Anine Bing Moto jeans for a city-chic vibe.  Since it was a bit chilly, I wore my go-to military jacket over it.  This added some color and gave it a little more edge.  Overall the weather in NYC has been pretty warm so I can't complain that this jacket has been sufficient on most days!  Click the links to shop the look!
