I love a great flannel top for the winter months.  One of my favorite brands for the perfect plaid flannel is Rails LA.  These tops are super soft and wearable.  This is one of the most comfortable shirts that I own which makes it perfect for a casual weekend look.  Today I paired it with my favorite frayed hem denim from 3x1.  These jeans are very high waisted and are a great break from classic skinny jeans.  I layered on my new jewelry from the Missoma x Lucy Williams collection. Lucy Williams is one of my favorite bloggers to follow on Instagram and I love her jewelry!  I have been wearing it on repeat since I bought it.  To shop this look, click the links above and below!

LNA is one of my favorite brands for comfortable, casual looks.  I love all of the different details they add to their pieces like cut outs or purposeful rips that make their clothing anything but basic.  This sweater with sleeve cut outs is super fun and comfortable.  It pairs perfectly with my new high waisted skinnies from Mother denim. To dress the look up a little, I added my snakeskin M. Gemi pumps and my Theory satchel for a pop of color.  This outfit is so comfortable and perfect for a day out and about in the city.  To shop, click the links above or below.

A new handbag is always on my list when I am thinking about the transition from summer into fall.  This year I wanted something classic that would work with a variety of outfits and be easy to take with me when I am running around the city.  When I saw this burgundy suede satchel from Theory I knew it would make the perfect piece for fall.  First of all, I have always wanted a suede bag.  Suede is an easy way to add texture and it's perfect for the colder weather months.  Second, I absolutely love the color of this bag!  It still works as a neutral, but gives my outfit that subtle pop of color that it needs.  Last but not least, the style of this bag makes it easy to throw on and go especially when I am trying to be hands free.  This bag is an investment piece, but it is one that will be a classic closet staple forever.  Today I paired it with my Frame Denim flares and a classic white crop top from Club Monaco.  To shop my look, click the links above or below.

Hello City Luxers,

One of the best things about fall is being able to wear a lightweight jacket that complements your outfit.  There is nothing I love more than wearing my trusty leather motorcycle jacket.  Unfortunately, living in the NYC area there is only a small window of time before it gets too cold to wear anything but a huge bulky winter coat.  So I like to take advantage of the crisp fall weather and break out all of my jackets that are super stylish but don't completely hide my outfit.  Every fall I am drawn to new jackets like this awesome (and super affordable) Bella Luxx shearling bomber jacket or this lightweight trench from Cupcakes & Cashmere.  I love wearing this trench over a pair of jeans with a simple t-shirt and heels.  This season capes are also back in style and even though this one from Theory is a little pricy, it is reversible so you get two looks for the price of one!  To shop these picks, click above or in the gallery below.  Also, leave me a comment and let me know which jacket is your favorite!
